The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam is one of the most famous museums in the world. Hundreds visit it each day. Stiofán Ó hAnluain, who has Alzheimer’s and who has escaped from the nursing home, is amongst those on this particular day. In the upper gallery Stiofán makes his way up to a parapet wall that is three storeys above ground and there is every likelihood that he will commit suicide and jump.
